Field Trips, holes, and chaos

We'll start with some levity cause this week demands it!
If you are driving on 275 East between Madison Pike and Pride Parkway, and it's safe to do so, take a glance at the top of the water receptacle that is still being worked on and notice the wood sign that is spray-painted simply, "HOLE". It makes me laugh every single time.

...and yes I do say it out loud like Lorelai Gilmore every single time.
Now onto the not-so-fun stuff: Dad was in the hospital from Monday morning until Thursday afternoon after passing out following his morning meds. It was a really scary few minutes and I am wildly thankful for the Independence EMTs who arrived to our house quickly and rushed Dad to St. E.

Orion came along every day for moral support- not only for Dad but also for his care team. We still don't have answers as to what caused him to pass out, but we are seeing his Cardiologist in a couple of weeks, once I'm cleared to drive following surgery.

My surgery will be on Wednesday, June 24th.
Our Meal Train can be accessed here: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/o8v324. I won't be able to cook for the two weeks following my surgery, so any meal delivery or DoorDash gift cards would be incredibly helpful!
We'll have home health aides four hours/ day for the two weeks following surgery, but I know Dad would appreciate companionship. Please email me any dates and times you would be available to hang out with Pops at mmck8705@gmail.com.
As always our NKY ALS Walk link is: https://secure.alsohio.org/site/TR/Endurance/General?pg=personal&px=1099351&fr_id=1190
There's also some great ALS News:

Thank every single one of you for your prayers, love, support, and friendship.
A special thank you to our family friend Joan who sent me this beautiful piece from Rookwood Pottery!

We love and appreciate every single one of you!
With love and gratitude,
Bo and McKenzie
